SO WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH DEFECTOR ART

Well after our first break in over 8 years, things are starting to move again.  2012 is going to be the year of co-productions for Defector Art.  We will be working with Broken Mirror to bring back an old favourite later in the year.  One that was missing last year, but 2012 will see the biggest baddest return of 'Short But Not So Sweet'.  So writers get writing.  We will be publishing all the details and dates soon so stay tuned.

As for the others we can't say much yet.  But we are in early talks with two other large organisations to bring you some very different shows.  So hopefully we will be treading the boards at least three times this year.

Next year will be the big one!  Our tenth anniversary show and we plan to make that the biggest show we have ever put on - planning for that will start in about 6 months.  So, we're back!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

This is a picture that was banned by facebook.  Facebook was so outraged by it that they also banned the photographer from facebook!  The question is why?  It was meant to represent the meeting of two women from very different backgrounds.  Their smiles say it all.  What else can you read from it?  Facebook grow up!  What do you think?
