In the month of July we will be presenting a show in North Melbourne every Saturday night. It is called 'Boxashorts'. It will be a night of theatre and film and we require actors for the theatre part of the night.
The show will consist of short plays by award winning writer and director Frank Otis. The main play will be his much loved 'The Devil You Know'. We require actors both male and female in the 18 to 30 (approx.) age bracket. The role of God will be played by a female and the devil by a male. In both these roles you will be expected to wear skimpy/hot gear, only those comfortable with their bodies should apply for these roles. However there are plenty of other good/big roles where you get to wear all your clothes!
Auditions will be held on Saturday the 21st of May with rehearsals starting soon after. This is not a paid role as Defector Art is trying to pay off some debts. But it should be fun and looks great on your resume as Defector Art has done performances in both Melbourne and Sydney.
